Frank Carter plays live with Sex Pistols

Sex Pistols with Frank Carter looks set to be playing a secret show at the 350-capacity 100 Club venue in London on March 21, marking a rare chance to see the band in such small quarters.

Now, the thing about this gig is that it is a little bit of a secret, with the name of the band actually listed as the SPOTS. This has since been deduced to likely be Sex Pistols, given the fact it’s the same acronym for Sex Pistols On Tour Secretly that the band used previously when booking shows that the police would have likely shut down in 1977 when they were under fire in the press.

How to enter the SPOTS ballot

The good news is that you can enter the ballot for SPOTS right now. The band news is that you can only request two tickets, so you’ll have to narrow down which one of your friends is the biggest Sex Pistols fan by getting them to name every single one of their studio albums in order… … …

In all seriousness, you’ll be able to request two tickets, and you can do so by heading to this page before filling out your details through Ticketmaster, and confirming you’re willing to pay for the tickets if you are selected. Anyone hoping to see SPOTS at the 100 Club has until Friday, March 14 to sign up for the gig that takes place on March 21.

Sex Pistols first played shows with Frank Carter last year, when they reunited the original members without singer John Lydon (aka Johnny Rotten) to perform a set of gigs at Bush Hall. They have since played a UK tour, and later this month will play at the Royal Albert Hall for Teenage Cancer Trust.

The ‘SPOTS’ gig takes place at the 100 Club in London next Friday, March 21. You can enter the ballot here, and request up to two tickets at the gig. You have until this Friday, March 14 at 12pm GMT to enter.
