Schools budget support grant (SBSG)

Added ‘Schools budget support grant (SBSG): new and growing schools allocations (February 2026)’.

We have added the schools budget support grant (SBSG) conditions of grant and 2025 to 2026 allocations for mainstream schools and local authority allocations for centrally employed staff (CES) We have also revised the methodology section 4,4 on CES and removed the calculator tool now the allocations have been published.

We have a made a minor amendment for clarity to section 4.2 of the Methodology document.

We have amended section 4.3 of the methodology to include details of the SBSG rates for academies to cover April to August 2026 and also the full-year equivalent rates that will be rolled into the national funding formula.
