The critically acclaimed Rocketman, which charts the life of the legendary Elton John, finally returns to the big screen in London.
Two screenings will take place at the Royal Festival Hall, kicking off at 4pm and 8pm on Saturday 20 April 2024, accompanied by a full orchestra performing the film’s iconic soundtrack live.

Paramount Pictures’ Rocketman will be projected on a huge ultra-HD screen, while the on-stage orchestra brings to life its stunning soundtrack – the music of Elton John.
The film depicts the fascinating and tumultuous story of Elton John’s life and his journey to becoming one of popular music’s most decorated and successful icons.
Directed by Dexter Fletcher and written by Lee Hall, the film sees Golden Globe Award winner Taron Egerton take on the lead role of Elton, singing his way through the musician’s success with ubiquitous hits such as “Your Song,” “Tiny Dancer, “I ‘m Still Standing’ and many more.
The film also stars Jamie Bell as Elton’s longtime lyricist and writing partner Bernie Taupin, Richard Madden as Elton’s first manager John Reid and Bryce Dallas Howard as Elton’s mother Sheila Farebrother.

Tickets for the event start from £29.50 and are subject to a £3.50 booking fee for each transaction. 25% off concession tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis for full-time students, under 16s, pensioners and those receiving Universal Credit (ID may be required).
The Southbank Center is based on Belvedere Road, London, SE1 8XX. The nearest tube and train stations within a 5-7 minute walk of the site are Waterloo (Northern, Bakerloo, Jubilee and Waterloo and City lines), and Embankment (District and Circle lines). There are also bus stops nearby.
