The calm evening allowed the restaurant’s ambience to really shine. Riviera strikes a beautiful balance between sophistication and warmth, with interiors that evoke the glamour of the South of France.
Soft lighting, golden tones and art-lined walls create a space that feels luxurious yet welcoming – the kind of setting that instantly puts you at ease and invites you to linger.

From the moment we sat down, the service felt attentive, setting the tone for an enjoyable evening.
We began with starters that showcased the kitchen’s confident approach to classic dishes. I ordered the tuna tartare, which was fresh, delicate and the presentation was something different to anything I had seen before.

My boyfriend chose the Caesar salad, a timeless favourite that was executed well, with crisp romaine lettuce and a rich, well-balanced dressing that didn’t overpower the dish.
For our main courses, I opted for the sea bass, which arrived cooked with tender, flaky flesh and a beautifully refined flavour.
The dish was accompanied by a seafood sauce, something that wasn’t mentioned on the menu and therefore came as a surprise – worth noting for diners who may prefer to know exactly what to expect.
My boyfriend selected the beef, which proved to be a standout — cooked precisely as requested, wonderfully tender, and deeply satisfying, making it a strong and comforting choice for meat lovers.
Dessert was not to be missed, and we tried both options available.
The chocolate mousse was rich, indulgent, and smooth, striking the perfect balance between decadence and lightness.

The tarte tatin, meanwhile, delivered classic comfort — beautifully caramelised apples, buttery pastry, and just the right amount of sweetness.
Together, they provided a well-rounded and memorable finish to the meal.
Overall, Riviera offers far more than just a dinner — it’s an experience.
The combination of thoughtfully prepared dishes and an atmosphere that channels Mediterranean elegance makes it an excellent choice for a date night or a leisurely evening out.
Even on a quiet winter Monday, Riviera managed to transport us somewhere sunnier, leaving us eager to return.
