Reading Festival main stage with fireworks going off

Reading & Leeds 2026 have just gone ahead and dropped the names of all the headliners playing in 2026, with a corker of a first announcement for the festival next year.

Topping the bill at Reading & Leeds festival next year is Charli XCX, Chase & Status, Dave, Florence & The Machine, DC Fountainsand RAYE. In Leeds, Kasabian have also been announced to play a special Thursday night slot, with the remaining acts playing on Friday, August 28 to Sunday, August 30, 2026.

Also on the bill for Reading & Leeds in 2026 are Skepta, Sombr, Kneecap, JADE, Geese, Skye Newman, and many more. This marks the first wave of artists confirmed for the festival, with plenty more acts set to be named in future announcements ahead of the event next year.

Each headliner announced will also be a UK festival exclusive for next year, and 2026 also marks the first time in 25 years that the festival has booked exclusively British and Irish headliners. In 2000, the festival was headlined by Oasis, Pulp, and Stereophonics.
