Added 2 new sections, ‘Using your data when you supply goods and services to DfE’ and ‘Using your data so we can undertake long-term research and publish official statistics’.

Added a section on ‘Using your data to support apprenticeships and technical qualifications’, updated the ‘How long we keep your data’ sections and linked to the DfE retention schedule.

Added a new section on ‘Using your data when you apply for a childminder start-up grant scheme’. Updated the formatting to make the document easier to read.

Updated the information in ‘Using your data when you make a complaint about education providers, children’s social care or DfE’.

Updated how your data is used to carry out research and added a section on using your data for the Risk Protection Arrangement.

Updated title of privacy notice to ‘Privacy information: stakeholders’ and provided more detail on who our stakeholders are. Updated details about communications activities and data collected and retention periods for section on lists of contact details. Added new section on when you make a complaint about education providers, children’s social care or DfE, and a new section on using your data to support learner assessments.

Updated the sections ‘Using your data to protect learners’, ‘Using your data to maintain lists of contact details’, and ‘Using your data when you contact us’. Added ‘Using your data when you use DfE Sign-in’ section.
