An Italian food brand is bringing free pizza to Clapham in honor of National Pizza Day. Crosta & Mollica serves the pizzas from a pop-up truck, ready to be cooked at home.
The Crosta & Mollica van will be on site at The Polygon in Clapham Old Town on Friday 9th February from 12pm. It will be handing out free pizzas to cook at home.
They’ll have pizza like stromboli with pepperoni and spicy salami and margherita, along with a selection of generously topped Crosta & Mollica sourdough pizzas. There will also be a vegan option; Verdure Pizza has grilled vegetables, olives and basil sauce.
To get hold of a pizza, just say the password “pizza pronto” and you’ll get a pizza to cook at home. Crosta & Mollica make their pizza by mixing flour with a dough starter before slowly rising for 24 hours, firing in a wood-fired oven and then topping by hand.
For those who miss out on the giveaway, you can still get Crosta & Mollica pizza in supermarkets. They have a great variety of sourdough pizzas: greens, fiorentina, ham and mushroom, ham and basil with garlic, mushroom and pancetta with mascarpone, shrimp and pepper, margherita and more.
You can buy their pizzas in Sainsbury’s, Ocado, Waitrose, GoPuff, Morrisons and Tesco. You can find the Crosta & Mollica pizza van in Clapham Old Town, The Polygon, SW4 0GJ, on February 9.
