It’s never a nice thing to hear about a London bar closing down, and Pergola Paddington has shared the sad news that it will be closing its doors for the final time at the end of January.
Pergola Paddington has welcomed patrons for the last six-and-a-half years in west London, and has been known for putting on many a seasonal display, with memorable Oktoberfest afternoons, Christmassy evenings and long summer nights.
They took to Instagram this week to announce the news with a post reading “End of an Era #ThanksForTheMemories”, and confirmed that the last day of fun at Pergola Paddington would be Saturday, January 20.
Pergola Paddington wrote: “We have some news to share. After six and a half years of making unforgettable memories with millions of wonderful guests, our time at Pergola Paddington is coming to an end and we will be closing our doors permanently on January 20, 2024.
“Since opening in July 2017, we’ve had the privilege of hosting some of London’s most famous parties from Pergola Paraiso to Deck The Halls. As with Pergola On The Rood and Pergola Olympia, the Pergola name will live on at Pergola On The Wharf and an exciting future space to be announced soon!”
A new venue from the team certainly is exciting news, but it’s a shame that we can’t have both of them going strong in the city after all!
The venue has also confirmed that they will be open as usual up until January 20, when the bittersweet occasion will be marked by a closing party with plenty of surprises and special guest DJs ready to soundtrack the last hurrah. All those who attend won’t need to be told twice to see the bar off in style.
You can even head to Pergola Paddington to get one final dose of the London Christmas festivities for the final time, as their Deck The Halls display will remain up until this weekend.
