Family Chantel star Pedro Jimeno had a heart of stone when he emotionally froze Chantel Everett, and the fact that he seemingly always intended to leave her has damaged her reputation. It’s hard to take Pedro seriously as a realtor because he was such a resourceful villain when his relationship with Chantel ended. Now Pedro is trying to reach the American Dream, but people on social media have long memories. They remember everything – what they saw on screen has helped them piece together a story that paints a disturbing portrait of Pedro.

Pedro’s quality is cold-blooded. He is someone who always has his eye on the prize. The brass ring he is trying to grab is a fortune in America.

When he was with Chantel, money was a constant focus. He wanted it badly, and he sent some of what he had to his mercenary relatives, leaving Chantel and him with less income. He was happy to send money to his sister Nicole Jimeno and controversial mother Lidia Morel, and he made Chantel feel guilty if she slowed down his “world domination” plans. Once she failed the nursing exam and he scolded her because it meant she should have continue working in the warehouse until he passed the exam. He had no sympathy whatsoever for her.

Pedro cannot redeem himself

Has he said and done too much?

Pedro has said and done too much. He tries to focus on the positive on Instagram, posting joke clips about his career based on viral memes. However, it is not nearly enough change the negative public perception of him. Yes, he has supporters, but many people know him too well. They have seen the dark side and they cannot forget.

When Pedro scolded Chantel for not keeping the house in tip top condition despite working very long hours as a nurse and standing on her feet all day, she seemed so callous. The sweet and smiling Pedro of last year was gone. It is quite likely that Pedro dropped the mask, to give up an act that was probably getting tiring. In a sense, Chantel met the real Pedro for the first time when she was dealing with that sudden and nasty man.

He put Chantel down to get her off of him. It’s easier to be cruel and push someone away than to deal with their feelings. It’s easier to be freezing cold than to face the emotional damage done to another person. While Pedro may have gotten meaner over the years, it’s entirely possible that he always intended to hurt Chantel. His demeanor was like night and day.

Pedro’s Nice Guy Act is unconvincing

He’s been struggling on Instagram

Pedro constantly trying to ignite a redemption arc, but the fire never burns properly. His opponents keep pulling him back to the past he evolved from long ago. They seem obsessed with reminding him of every sin and every dark spot. Yes, he may have changed, but his haters are locked into a perspective that suits their story. They won’t admit that he’s a good person now, if he is. In the post above, where he encouraged potential customers to get in touch, the critic vented, writing:

I wouldn’t call you a house if you were the last realtor on earth

This is Pedro’s new normal. He hasn’t posted on Instagram since August 27th, and he may be on radio silence because the tone he’s getting is hurting his business. He may be considering a new PR strategy since his efforts so far have not been very successful. There’s always a different way to market yourself, but Pedro may find that the rebranding process is fraught with peril. Yes, his supporters give him some praise, but the harsh words from those who see Pedro as an egregious Green Card hunter are often far more memorable.

Bullying Pedro? Perhaps. He is a good looking guy who works hard. His marriage failed and that is not a crime. Fans can explore the idea that Pedro doesn’t deserve some of the verbal abuse he receives and that he has to earn a living. However, trolls usually do not have this kind of perspective and sensitivity. In time, Pedro may wonder if leaving Chantel was the worst business decision he ever made. Hopefully, The Kantel family the star is happier without him. Otherwise, he has paid quite a high price for his freedom.
