From Pedro Jimeno Family Chantel is back in the dating scene more than two years after splitting from Chantel Everett, but is currently having challenges finding a partner. He originally moved to the US to marry Chantel and despite the family drama, the couple tied the knot in 2016. However, their marriage was not a happy one as they continued to deal with conflicts with their families. Pedro later became a real estate agent and decided to divorce his American wife. In May 2022, he filed for divorce from Chantel. Since then he has been focused on her career and recently adopted two black cats.

Although Pedro’s professional life is booming, he has decided to dip his toes into the dating world. However, he struggles to find a partner he likes.

Pedro recently posted an Instagram post from the user @warrior.lifehacking On her Instagram Story, discussing the challenges she currently faces in the dating pool. The title of the video was “POV: Trying to date in 2025,” as fighting actor Ryan Gosling concerns that Pedro has experienced: “is OF, still in love with exyou have traumas, “it’s woke”, “wants polyamory”, “has a lot of friends” and “can’t get over their breakup.” The video ends with Ryan walking out unscathed with the text, “me, single and whole.”

What Pedro’s concern about the dating pool means for his romantic future

Pedro needs to show more kindness and be less condescending

More than two years after Pedro ended his relationship with Chantel, he has finally decided to start dating again, hoping to eventually fall in love and start a family. He has taken a positive step forward. However, it is unfortunate that he has yet to find someone who is compatible with him and is not involved with anyone else. Despite this setback, Family Chantel Aluna should not lose hope and continue looking for a date who shares her values. The the more dates he goes on, the more likely he is to find his soulmate.

Pedro should consider being more gracious and chivalrous when he enters the dating world. During Family Chantel in season 5, he mistreated Chantel and Winter Everett even accused him of emotional abuse. There is a chance for that his potential dates have seen his behavior on the show and may have a negative impression about him. Although Pedro may have grown and changed since then, he may not be able to find love and attract a suitable partner because of his on-screen actions. To improve her chances, she should focus on showing kindness on dates and following up on potential matches instead of quickly ruling out unsuitable ones.

Pedro may have to consider compromises

While all of Pedro’s concerns about dating are valid, he would have a hard time finding someone who doesn’t have friends. It’s understandable that she wants a less outgoing and introverted person because Chantel has a lot of friends and enjoys vacationing with them often. Even many viewers criticized Chantel for her frequent trips to tropical destinations. However, Pedro may have to compromise and to accept that his partner has friends and a life outside of their relationship. That would be unreasonable Family Chantel aluna expects him to cut off the friends he already has.

Family Chantel is available to stream on Discovery +.
