After self-elimination The Golden BachelorPascal Ibgui turned himself into the ultimate villain of the season and may have damaged his reputation forever. Bachelor Nation fans loved the stylish Frenchman at first. At 69, Pascal was one of the season’s oldest men and the oldest of Joan’s final three, but he seemed much younger. From the moment Joan stepped out of the limousine on the first night, she charmed with her French accent and elegant looks. The energetic salon owner was playful, charming and witty, as well as stylish and in excellent shape.

Pascal seemed to have it all, including Joan. She got her second solo date of the season and was taken to Las Vegas for her dream date. Things seemed to be going well between Joan and Pascal, and it looked like she was going to leave The Golden Bachelor season 1 with Joan’s last rose and in her heart. After an exciting dating season and drama Pascal made it to Joan’s final three men. They were both looking forward to their date night, but the night ended in tears, and Pascal went home with his reputation in tatters.

Pascal told Joan that he only sees her as a friend

He got scared

Joan and Pascals relationship went well, so it was no surprise when Pascal made it to the final three along with 60-year-old Chock Chapple and 66-year-old Guy Gansert. During The Golden Bachelor in the season 1 episode Hometown, Joan visited Pascal’s hometown of Chicago, Illinois, where she met his family and enjoyed a day at his luxurious salon. Everything seemed fine between the couple. They headed out for a date night excited, but their hopes were soon dashed. Now Pascal’s reputation could be irreparably damaged.

Reality TV dating has become a complex and nuanced part of the genre, and it welcomes all kinds of dating shows. Here are the top 20!

The night’s date started well enough. Joan and Pascal hadn’t seen each other for days, so they really wanted to get to know each other again. Everything started to go south during the engagement ceremony. The ceremony was symbolic, but it still upset Pascal because it made him question his true feelings for Joan. The bonding exercise made him realize that he had no romantic feelings for Joan and only saw her as a friend. This came as a surprise because Pascal didn’t act like Joan’s platonic friend when he kissed her or introduced her to his children.

The moment Pascal sat Joan down and told her the truth was devastating and hard to watch.

In a scene posted to YouTube by Bachelor Nation, both Joan and Pascal cried. At the end of the conversation, Pascal angrily tries to shoo the cameras away, not wanting them to capture the painful moment on film. Later, Pascal sat down for an interview and cried because he never wanted to hurt anyoneespecially Joana. While it’s clear that this wasn’t the way Pascal wanted the story to end, it’s not clear what he thought would happen after he told Joan that he saw her as a friend.

Pascal waited for the night to part with her

Bad timing

One of the reasons why fans are mad at Pascal is that he waited until the night of the date to break up with Joan. It’s disappointing that Pascal didn’t realize he didn’t care for Joan until she met his family. If he had left earlier, someone more interested in Joan could have moved on. Bachelor Nation fans are mad at Pascal for misleading Joan and wasting her time, but people have to understand that Pascal probably had the best intentions. Relationships are difficult and emotions are complicated. It is unfair to accuse him of dishonesty.

Pascal clearly liked Joan until he realized he didn’t like her enough to maintain a lasting relationship.

Joan removed the bed from the bedroom suite out of respect for the man she ends up with. Although it is speculated that Pascal left because he could not get in touch with Joan, this is highly unlikely. There is no indication that Pascal wanted sexand that is a completely unfair accusation. Pascal clearly liked Joan and was genuinely trying to make the relationship work. It’s not his fault that he didn’t have strong enough feelings for Joan. Intentions matter, and fans would do well to remember that.

Regardless of the truth, there’s no doubt that Pascal’s reputation has taken a hit since the latest
The Golden Bachelor
season 1 episode.

The way Pascal’s reputation is being dragged through the mud is reminiscent The Golden Bachelor season 1 Gerry Turner. The 72-year-old retired widow ended the season by giving her last rose to 70-year-old Theresa Nist. The seven-year-old couple got engaged and married a few weeks later. When they announced their separation after only three short months of marriagefans blamed Gerry for the breakup. Since then, he has been unfairly implicated and his reputation damaged, and Pascal may soon find himself in the same place.

Was Pascal on the Show for Fame?

Maybe he wanted to boost his business

After self-elimination The Golden Bachelor season 1, Pascal has been accused of using the program to gain weight. many Bachelor franchise contestants can parlay their participation into a sometimes lucrative career as social media influencers. A great recent example are Bachelor season 28’s Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson, who got engaged on the show and are now prominent social media lifestyle influencers. Despite the fact that there is a Bachelor the villain may not be as lucrative as the aforementioned Gerry has shown.

Unlike Joey and Kelsey, Gerry hasn’t become an influencer, and in fact posts on Instagram less often than before.

Many exes Bachelor The nation’s stars end up with others Bachelor franchise shows, and it could happen to Pascal. Ever since he’s been painted as a villain The Golden Bachelor in season 1, he will never be next golden bachelor, but if the producers ever decide to do Golden Bachelor in Paradisecharming french would make a great resort resident.
