Outer Banks According to a recent release update, season 4 may be coming to Netflix sooner than expected.
Season 3 of the series was released on the streaming platform on February 23, 2023. The original plan was to finish shooting season 4 by December 15, 2023, but the Hollywood writers’ and actors’ strikes delayed the process.
Due to the production schedules of the previous seasons, it appeared that Season 4 would not be completed until sometime in June or July.
Exciting new update for Outer Banks Season 4
Season 4 of What’s on Netflix, according to a recent report Outer Banks filming will be officially completed by May 20.
This update is exciting for many fans of the show, as some previous suggestions suggested that Season 4 could be in production until July.
It’s also worth noting that first assistant director Michael G. Jefferson confirmed via Instagram that Vol Outer Banks Season 4, which was scheduled to shoot in Morocco on March 6, further shows that production is generally moving along smoothly.
When is Outer Banks season 4 coming out?
Now that fans know the exact date Outer Banks Season 4 is set to wrap up filming, so it’s much easier to predict when the new installment will hit Netflix.
Let’s face it, season 2 started shooting on August 31, 2020 and ended on April 2, 2021. It was then released on Netflix on July 30, 2021 (which was three months later).
The third season began filming on February 15, 2022 and ended in September 2022. It then premiered on February 23, 2023 (five months later).
Since the previous two seasons were released three and five months after filming wrapped, fans can realistically expect Season 4 to air three to five months after May 20th.
In other words, it’s possible that Season 3 could hit Netflix sometime in the fall of 2024, possibly around October (give or take a month).
This release window would be extremely exciting for many fans, as at one point with the strikes going on, many were unsure when Season 4 could be released, with some even believing it wouldn’t happen until 2025.
