Jacksons Lane to host Berlin’s wildest musical comedy duo on 2nd July, fresh from Glastonbury

Hold onto your glitter, London – the most dysfunctional sibling duo in glam-rock are about to blow the roof off Jacksons Lane. Otto & Astrid, Berlin’s cult comedy-meets-rock legends, are hitting town for one night only with their critically acclaimed show, The Stages Tour, on Wednesday 2nd July. And if their Glastonbury antics are anything to go by, you’re in for a night of uproarious musical mayhem.

Combining riotous comedy, high-voltage Europop, and tantrum-fuelled theatrics, Otto & Astrid serve up a live gig experience unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Think Flight of the Conchords meets Eurovision on a sugar rush – complete with face-melting solos, sparkly chaos, and some of the most hilariously dysfunctional sibling chemistry this side of Oasis.

Having already conquered audiences across Australia, Europe, and North America, the duo are making a glittery pitstop in London as part of the London Clown Festival, following their high-energy run at Glastonbury.

“Otto and Astrid are a triple threat: consummate musicians, comics and actors… together they are phenomenal.” – ★★★★★ Arts Hub

Their accolades are no joke either. In 2025 alone, they clinched the Green Room Award for Outstanding Ensemble, with nominations for original songs, musical direction, and writing. That’s on top of years of festival domination from Melbourne to Montreal, and standing ovations at the Edinburgh Fringe and Soho Theatre.

A Taste of the Tour

Expect sibling rivalry cranked to eleven, pitch-perfect musical parodies, and enough glitter to sink a ship. The Stages Tour doesn’t just poke fun at the music industry – it throws a sequinned punch and leaves audiences roaring for more.

Whether you’re a seasoned Otto & Astrid fan or new to their chaos, this one-night-only show promises something unforgettable. With past shows dubbed “wild cabaret rock” (Herald Sun) and “pitch-perfect pop parody” (The Scotsman), you’ll want to grab your tickets before they vanish in a puff of dry ice and sibling sarcasm.

In Their Words:

“Louder than the White Stripes, more dysfunctional than Metallica and funnier than Flight of the Conchords.” – ★★★★ The Irish Times

“All you really need to know is this: they’re hilarious.” – ★★★★★ CBC Canada

So grab your boots, bring a mate, and prepare for a night of full-throttle glam chaos. Otto & Astrid are only in town for a flash – and you don’t want to miss this comedic rock spectacle.
