Hamilton fans ought to get excited. This year, Leslie Odom Jr will be reprising his role of Aaron Burr.

The American star is making his West End debut at London’s Victoria Palace Theatre this July to play the character that launched him into stardom back in 2015 on Broadway. However, he won’t be doing it for long.

The 44-year-old star will be performing as the former Vice President of the United States for just nine weeks. He’ll kick off his short residency on July 3, 2026, and will stay on until September 5, 2026.

Leslie Odom Jr is best known for his performance as Aaron Burr in the original run of Hamilton, opposite the legendary Lin-Manuel Miranda, who wrote and starred in the original production. Both the actors starred in the live-recorded version which has since debuted on Disney Plus.

For this beloved performance, Odom Jr won the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical and a Grammy Award for his performance on the original cast recording.

He went on to return to the role on Broadway for sell-out 12-week residency in 2025. He has also enjoyed more Broadway success on the 2023 revival of Purlie Victorious: A Non-Confederate Romp Through the Cotton Patch.

Tickets for this historic nine-week run will be released later this week. And fans have one chance to get priority tickets, as well.

Below, we’ve broken down everything fans need to know.

How to buy Hamilton tickets with Leslie Odom Jr

Hamilton, starring Leslie Odom Jr as Aaron Burr (Sir), will be released on general sale from Friday, March 13, 2026, at 11am. These tickets are expected to be available from a number of retailers, including LOVEtheatre and TodayTix.

Ahead of that, however, an early-bird ticket release will go live on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 11am. These will be exclusively available to fans who sign up on the official website ahead of time.

The upcoming shows – which run from July 3 to September 5, 2026 – will be the first time an original member of the Hamilton cast has performed in the West End as their character. And to say Leslie Odom Jr is excited would be an understatement.

Leslie Odom Jr said: “Returning to Hamilton and revisiting the role of Aaron Burr with the growth and perspective of time has been a profoundly healing artistic experience. I am having so much fun!

“I am thankful to Cameron Mackintosh and Jeffrey Seller for the invitation to make my West End debut with this fabulous company. The London production will grant me a few more glorious weeks to share Lin-Manuel’s music with an international audience who, I have learned, love this show as much, if not more, than I. I’m crossing the ocean and I just can’t wait.”
