Côte at Home has launched a special Mother’s Day treat with a home menu designed by Gordon Ramsay’s former head chef Steve Allen. Steve and his team have created a Beef Wellington, known as one of the most difficult dishes to cook at home, with a three-course meal ready in less than 90 minutes.
The Mother’s Day special starts with Pont-l’Évêque cheese with pickled carrots and cucumber, almond romesco dip, sourdough baguette and truffle sausage.
The main course, Beef Wellington with pepper sauce, is served with confit new potatoes, rosemary-roasted root vegetables and braised red cabbage. All you have to do is pop it in the oven and while you wait treat your mum to a chilled bottle of Laurent-Perrier La Cuveé Champagne (£49.95) or Rosé Champagne (£69.95).
If you prefer a different main course, Côte At Home has the same box but with Duck Confit and Orange Jus instead of Wellington and this is for two and four people (£54.95/£99.95). The option for two people comes with 2x Crème Caramel instead of rolled.
And this weekend’s French Breakfast Box is £39.95 with a selection of continental treats and English breakfast.
Mother’s Day home cooking is now available to pre-order for delivery from 6 – 9 March. Delivery times are between 07.00 and 21.00.
Launched in 2020, Côte at Home offers an alternative to the experience at Côte. The food, which arrives in a chilled box ready to be cooked, has a loyal fan base with regular customers including acting royal Dame Judi Dench.
Steve said: “We’re delighted to have launched our Mother’s Day collection with one of my favorite dishes, Beef Wellington, which uses fillet steak from our own butchery, wrapped in flaky puff pastry and served with our decadent peppercorn sauce. It’s easy to make food and means you have more time on the big day to spend with your loved ones.”
