Oasis have announced yet another support act for the UK leg of next year’s massive worldwide tour, completing the line-up as the 90s legends return to Cardiff. Oasis will return to the stage in July 2025, marking their long-awaited reunion in Cardiff with sold-out shows on 4 and 5 July.
Back in August, brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher confirmed the Britpop band’s reunion and subsequent worldwide tour in 2025, saying “The great wait is over.” Weeks later, fans were left disappointed when tickets went on sale as demand far outstripped supply, with hundreds of thousands of people missing out. As well as the Welsh capital, the UK and Ireland tour includes shows in Manchester, London and Dublin. Now, the band has shared details about who will be joining them on the road altogether. Last week, first support act Richard Ashcroft, the former lead singer of The Verve, was announced, and now the Northern brothers have added ’90s band Cast to the lineup.

The relationship between Oasis and Throw have always been naturally intertwined. Even before the band was formed, Liam had been a big fan of singer John Power’s previous group Let’s and rated them as equal to The rock roses. John and the Gallaghers were soon acquainted. It was around this time Oasis is offered Throw a place of support after admiring John’s demos that became their debut album “All Change”. That show was there Throw was discovered and then immediately signed by Polydorus.
Throw continued to play on many legendary Oasis gig highlights, from Paris to Irving Beach, Loch Lomond to Knebworth. Following the announcement, John Power said: “I am thrilled with the reunion. Oasis are the voice of a generation and the songs they wrote and sang were and still are the soundtrack to many people’s dreams. They are the people’s band.
“I’ve known Noel and Liam over the years, we go way back. It’s been a ride, a journey. I’ve known and felt their music personally, as a fan. It inspired me as a songwriter, it blew the whole stage open like nothing earlier and it reached far beyond the stratosphere. Everything changed and we will all be a part of this.
