Still sore about missing out on tickets to the Oasis reunion tour? There’s some good news. Worried that it’ll all be over in a flash and you’ll want to relive it? There’s some good news.
Oasis have gone ahead and announced that a tour film will be made alongside their Live ’25 reunion dates coming this summer, and it’ll be produced by Stephen Knight of Peaky Blinders fame. Anyone who is still cursing the ticket queues and winces at the term ‘dynamic pricing’ can at least know that they’ll be able to witness the action of the hot ticket on screen.
The brothers Gallagher tour kicks off its UK & Ireland run on July 4 in Cardiff this yearafter they sent the internet into overdrive last year when it was announced they’d take to the stage together for the first time since 2009. Oasis subsequently announced they would be heading to huge venues in North & South America, Asia, and Australia as part of the reunion, as well as quashing rumours of a Glastonbury Festival headline performance.
The picture will be produced and created by Stephen Knight as it’s created in conjunction with the tour dates, with directing duties coming from Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace – who made LCD Soundsystem’s Shut Up And Play The Hits film.
There is no release date named for the film just yet, but it has been confirmed that it will be distributed by Sony Music Vision.
