Noisy Oyster, playfully named after the well-known tongue twister, is a modern take on the seafood bistro in the heart of Shoreditch, serving up the finest seafood and standout martinis in a striking, design-led monochromatic space.

Led by the team behind Firebird in Soho, the place was born out of founders’ love of the UK’s vibrant seafood scene, from boat catchers to fishmongers. Rather than replicate a traditional seaside restaurant, Noisy Oyster sets out to be the bistro of the future: stylish, upbeat and a little rowdy.

The modern, fish-forward menu draws influence from key coastal regions in Italy, Spain, Portugal, and France while showcasing the best of the UK’s seafood. Alfie Bahnan (ex-Trullo, Paradise, Lagare) leads the kitchen, bringing seasonality and reimagined takes on familiar seafood dishes to the forefront.

Renowned New York and Paris-based artist and founder of Crosby Studios, Harry Nuriev, spearheaded the design of the space, located in the historic Norton Folgate development. It has an intentional work-in-progress aesthetic, with exposed high ceilings and weighty pipes acting as pillars that frame the space. Primarily stainless steel and striking metallic finishes – a tribute to fishing tackles and fishmonger counters – allow texture and light to be the main characters within the minimal and futuristic space.

Private dining events at Noisy Oyster

The Private Dining Room seats up to 12 guests at a single table, providing an intimate setting suitable for a range of gatherings. With a sleek, minimalist interior, the space is filled with natural light during the day and takes on a striking, atmospheric character after dark. For added discretion, a dedicated entrance is available upon request, and the venue is fully accessible for wheelchair users.

Two set menus of £60 or £75 are available for the Private Dining Room guests. To enjoy a full a la carte menu please send an enquiry to the team.
