Noel Gallagher has been added to the already stacked cast of a new music documentary series from Disney+. Camden is confirmed to have some of music’s biggest names, including Dua Lipa, Chris Martin and Mark Ronson.
Billed as an “evocative” documentary, the four-part series will reveal the extraordinary untold stories of how the lives and careers of many of today’s biggest music acts were shaped by London’s “beating heart of music”. Already confirmed to star in the series are Little Simz, Nile Rodgers, Boy George and Yungblud, with former Oasis star Gallagher revealed as a late addition.
Camden will be available to stream on May 29 exclusively on Disney+, which is available to join from £4.99 a month. Disney+ members can get the equivalent of two months free by paying for a year in advance, bundling 12 months for the price of 10 on the standard or premium plans.

A 12-month subscription to the premium plan now costs £109.90 – saving £21.98 compared to paying monthly – and includes higher video quality up to 4K UHD and HDR, plus the ability to stream on four devices at the same time. Pete Doherty and Carl Barat of The Libertines, Suggs, Black Eyed Peas, Public Enemy’s Chuck D and Sister Bliss of Faithless are also confirmed to headline Camden.
Through archival footage, observational footage and interviews, viewers will explore Camden’s rich history and hear from world-renowned musicians as they relive their Camden experiences. Those featured will recall their Camden stories from the very first gigs to sell-out concerts, tops and flames on nights out and a youth spent discovering music.
Camden is produced by Lightbox, the production company founded by Academy Award-winning producer Simon Chinn and Emmy-winning producer Jonathan Chinn in association with Day One Pictures, the production company founded by Amy Winehouse’s original manager Nick Shymansky, and Radical22. Disney+ is also home to a slew of new music movies and documentaries, including Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version), Thank You Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story, The Beatles: Let It Be and the upcoming The Beach Boys.
