Last week’s chapter of My Hero Academia was grim. It was full of shocking revelations and twists. One of the most important pieces of information revealed in the previous chapter is how All For One orchestrated everything in Shigaraki’s life, from his birth to the tragic events that changed his life.
Another shocking twist was how Deku lost both of his arms after Tenko’s Quirk corrupted them into his imaginary arms. After the AFO took over Tenko’s mind, Deku was thrown out of the fantasy world with his arm destroyed. Fortunately, there was a glimmer of hope towards the end of the chapter when Aizawa and several UA students joined the fight.
What happens after Aizawa emerges from the portal in front of Deku is revealed in chapter 420 of My Hero Academia.

My Hero Academia Episode 420 Spoiler

My Hero Academia episode 420 is called “From Aizawa-kun”. The chapter begins with a flashback where Aizawa, Present Mic and Kurogiri are on a small island after Kurogiri pulls the two into a portal. Present Mike is angry and upset that his friend Shirakumo’s corpse is being treated with such disrespect.
Aizawa is convinced that part of Shirakumo’s consciousness still remains within Kurogiri, who saved the two people. After an emotional confrontation, Kurogiri proves Aizawa’s claim by saying Present Mike’s real name. Later, Aizawa calls Tsukauchi and asks who is still available to fight.
The next scene shows Aizawa telling Ectoplasm that Kurogiri’s portal is now available and that he must quickly gather those who can still fight. Death Arms and Astro volunteers. Tsukauchi tells Aizawa that the battle at Takoba is still going on. The pro hero then teleports to the location with the other heroes to form a group to fight the AFO.
In the present, Aizawa asks Deku how long it’s been since he lost his arm. Deku says he doesn’t know because he lost it in the fantasy world. Aizawa reveals that he has Eri’s horn and explains that it is his dream to sing like Jiro and that he wants to help Deku, All Might and “Kacchan-san.”
Eri doesn’t have much energy, so it will probably take 2-3 minutes for Deku’s arm to heal. Meanwhile, his teammates and other heroes are ready to keep AFO busy. This chapter ends here.
