It might be time to start cashing in those promises from your fathers to take you into the city to see a band because My Chemical Romance have just announced two huge nights in London next year. Almost unbelievably, this pair of shows will mark their first in the capital in 15 years, having last stepped on stage here back in 2011.

My Chemical Romance are celebrating their seminal record, The Black Paradewhich turns 20 next year, and has seen the band take to the stage in the US to perform the ‘Long Live The Black Parade’ tour. On July 10 & 11, 2026it’s London’s turn to celebrate the record that, for many of a certain generation and beyond, proved a defining moment of their formative musical and cultural journies.

It marks the band’s first shows in the UK since 2022, which saw them embark on a delayed (due to the Covid lockdowns) comeback tour. They may not have played the capital, but many in the capital will have travelled over to see them play three nights at Stadium MK in Milton Keynes. Prior to this, they last played around these parts at Reading & Leeds festival in 2011, which came prior to the band splitting up in 2013.

Today’s announcement follows the band teasing shows in the UK over the weekend, which ended with Wembley Stadium posting an image of the tour artwork displayed across the venue.
