Sister wives star Meri Brown finally got an official admission that her ex-husband Kody Brown abandoned their marriage by their church leaders, and he takes the information as a sign to move on. Although Sister wives season 19 is clearly different from any other season of the series, Kody and Mere’s relationship dynamic hasn’t changed much since the end of the year. Sister wives season 18. Kody, the patriarch of the Brown family who once had a quartet of wives in his extended family, has been dealing with the transition from four wives to one, Robyn Brown.

Meri, Christine Brown and Janelle Brown have all left the patriarch in the past two years, causing chaos for the extended Brown family as they navigate their relationships. Meri and Kody’s marriage, the first plural of the Brown family, lasted more than 30 years, but things turned sour when Kody fell in love with Robyn and emotionally separated from his other wives. While Meri continued to try to make things work, she had her own delusions as she moved into the 2010s. Mere’s decision to leave Kody and their marriage behind was not taken lightly.

Although she was still his wife mentally, the couple was legally separated so that Kody could legally marry Robyn and adopt the children he had from a previous marriage. Even though she knew Meri wouldn’t be happy about breaking up with Kody, she graciously took a step back, hoping it would keep her marriage safe.
