There is no doubt that Taylor Swift is known for having a predominantly female fan base. But as the star’s astronomical success continues to reach new heights, are all Swifties really female?
Ahead of Taylor’s second London appearance on the Eras Tour, catch up with the male Swifties who weren’t just there for their girlfriends, daughters or other female counterparts, outside Wembley Stadium.

“I’ve been listening to Taylor Swift since she was a country icon”
The couple have loved the star since her debut album Taylor Swift. Jacob said: “I’ve been listening to Taylor Swift since she was a country icon. When I was growing up, she was growing up too so it’s been pretty cool.”
As dedicated Swifties, they were among the first fans to get tickets for the UK leg of The Eras Tour through the pre-sale.
Ryan said he was hoping for “Florida” as a surprise song, a tribute to his roots, while Shifflett was rooting for “Fortnight,” a collaboration with rapper Post Malone from Taylor’s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.
“He’s been singing Taylor Swift since he was a baby”
also found seven-year-old Jack Singh outside Wembley, eagerly handing out friendship bracelets to fellow Swifties for his first Taylor concert.
As for his dream surprise song, Jack knew exactly what he wanted: “‘Is It Over Now?” mashed up with ‘Out of the Woods’. On piano.” His other favorites are “Cruel Summer” and “Willow.”
“She has been there at every stage of my life”
Science teacher Santi Velaz, 24, said he became obsessed with Taylor after she released the famous “We Are Never Getting Back Together” and its accompanying music video.
He said her music had been there for him when he moved from Spain to the UK, adding: “She’s been there at every stage of my life.”
Santi also said he was hoping for “The Moment I Knew” as a surprise song.

For Ruel Aseo, 35, originally from the Philippines but living in Cambridge, Taylor’s talent lies in her artistry as a lyricist. He said: “She really delivers the message of the songs really well and I can really relate to most of the songs. The lyrics of the songs are perfectly made for ordinary people experiencing ordinary things.”
Like many others, Ruel’s favorite song is the legendary ‘Love Story’.
