Wizarding fans are going to have the chance to experience Harry Potter in an even bigger way
A premier flagship Harry Potter store is set to open in autumn 2026. The two-floor store will be coming to Central London as visitors will have a chance to sample the Harry Potter world in a new way.
The store will open on Oxford Street at The Ribbon and it will become the UK’s second official Harry Potter retail destination alongside the King’s Cross shop.
Spread over 21,000 sq. ft, the store will be be transformed into an ‘immersive wizarding emporium’, showcasing iconic locations from the books and films.
It will also boast photo opportunities, interactive experiences and, of course, rows of merchandise.
Karl Durrant, Warner Bro’s SVP Worldwide Retail said: “Harry Potter is deeply rooted in British storytelling, and this will give fans an exciting new way to experience this magical world in the city that features so prominently in the stories.
“Offering a completely new retail experience for Harry Potter fans which will delight and entertain, it’s going to be very special.”
The Ribbon building was built in 2025, designed by ORMS architects and it is made up 80,000 sq. ft of HQ office space and 26,374 sq. ft of flagship retail space fronting Oxford Street.
The new shop will join the collection of Harry Potter experiences owned and operated by Warner Bros. in London including Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter and the Harry Potter Shop at King’s Cross.
There are various other Harry Potter shops around the world in New York, Chicago, Harajuku and Akasaka; Oxford Street will be the latest to join the expanding portfolio.
The store will be located The Ribbon, 134-140 Oxford Street. It is scheduled to open later in the year.
