The duo expanded their presence with operations in South Kensington and Battersea Power Station, supplemented by wholesale warehouses in London’s Billingsgate Market. and Brixham, Devon.
Wright and Hancock said: “Mark has opened almost as many restaurants as we’ve opened oysters over the years, but most importantly he’s as passionate about great seafood and great teams as we are. Celebrating our £30m turnover milestone felt like a great time to bring Mark on board, and it is a privilege to share the next phase of our seafood journey with him.
Mark Derry added: “I continue to be fascinated by the seafood market and was delighted to find that the Wright Brothers team share the same values. It is a unique company with a strong following and I look forward to joining.
