Bryce was enjoying his first ever breakfast Too Good To Go box as he issued his honest verdict after the experience. He also noticed one item was clear missing from the purchase
Too Good To Go boxes offer an excellent way to save money and cut down on food waste. The service links customers with restaurants and shops that have excess unsold food, selling it at reduced prices to prevent it being binned.
Now one man decided to treat himself to a breakfast box from a London hotel – and was pleasantly shocked with what arrived in the package. Bryce, who shares travel and food content with his 45,600 TikTok followers, recently enjoyed his first ever breakfast box from a hotel signed up to the popular scheme.
In a clip, he started: “This is my first ever time getting a breakfast Too Good To Go box and let me tell you guys, I am starving so I hope there’s something good inside here.”
He disclosed how the box set him back just a fiver and it was from a hotel in London.
Bryce went on: “I believe the description said we’re going to get a load of leftovers from their buffet, the box feels nice and warm which is a good start.”
As he gradually opens the container, he spots an assortment of delicious grub inside, from fluffy scrambled eggs to multiple pieces of sausages.
He remarked: “Oooo well we’ve got fluffy scrambled eggs baby, mushrooms, 2x hash browns, 2x grilled tomatoes, 2x sausages, oh no wait – there’s more sausages hiding underneath, 4x sausages and 2 bits of bacon and it’s good British bacon.
“We’ve basically got ourselves a Full English breakfast in London for a fiver which is unheard of. Is it any good though?”
As he tucks in, Bryce describes the meal as “delicious” and declares it the “tastiest Too Good To Go box” he’s encountered so far.
He went on: “The downside is obviously you can’t use what’s inside but there’s no baked beans in here, which actually I’m happy about because I do not like baked beans, so for me it’s a 10/10.”
The Too Good To Go application is straightforward to download and completely free. It operates as the world’s largest platform for surplus food, connecting users with quality meals that would otherwise be discarded.
It also provides excellent value at nearby shops, cafés and eateries. More than 180,000 establishments have partnered with Too Good To Go in their mission to combat food waste.
