NFL football is back (in digital form) with Madden 25 free trial available soon for PlayStation 5, Xbox and PC players.
It’s hard to deny the lack of excitement Madden 25 this year as its American football game, College Football 25returned after an 11-year hiatus.
However, San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey is on the cover of the latest one Madden 25 (There’s also a 2013 version to highlight the 25th anniversary).
With the NFL season kicking off on Friday, September 5th, it’s time for fans to ramp up the excitement and bring the season to life early.
How to Play Madden 25 Free Trial
Electronic Arts (EA) Sports revealed that the 10-hour free trial of its highly anticipated game is sure to excite football fans and gamers alike. Madden 25will be available to EA Play subscribers starting Tuesday, August 13 on PlayStation via PS5, Xbox and PC.
The trial starts at 12pm ET (midnight), offering subscribers a unique opportunity to experience the game before its official release.
EA Play members have access to this limited trial period, which allows them to explore the game’s new features, gameplay improvements, and updated rosters.
Those EA Play members who purchased the Deluxe Edition Madden 25 began early access to the full game at 4pm ET on August 12th.

What’s new in Madden 25?
Madden 25 includes several significant updates and improvements. The game features “Boom Tech”, an advanced tackling system designed to more closely replicate real tackling.
The franchise has been revamped with a redesigned NFL Draft Night, during which the drafted players shake Commissioner Roger Goodell’s hand and don formal suits.
Players can import up to 32 teams from Team Builder to Franchise mode and also load teams created by other users.
In addition, Franchise mode now allows you to break team and rookie records. Player animations and playstyles have been enhanced to better match real-life athletes using “Signature Styles”.
The pass blocking mechanics have been improved, allowing players to see which defenders their lineman is targeting before the snap and adjust their blocking systems accordingly.
Finally, new announcing teams have been added to the game with Mike Tirico, Greg Olsen, Kate Scott and Brock Huard with Brandon Gaudini and Charles Davis on commentary.
Regular version Madden 25 will be released on Friday, August 16 for PS5, Xbox, and PC.
