One of the most innovative and influential R&B outfits this country has ever produced, Loose Ends released a clutch of classic singles including Hangin’ On A String (Contemplating), Magic Touch and Don’t Be A Fool.
Having dominated the charts on both sides of the Atlantic for more than a decade with their potent mix of soul, funk, house and R&B, they can always get the dancefloor shaking with their infectious grooves. Led by original founder, Carl McIntosh, they’ve still got soul power coursing through their veins.
One of the most successful UK soul bands of the 1980’s, Loose Ends first hit the charts in 1985 with “Hanging on a String” which went to number one in the USA and hit the national top 10 in the UK. More hits followed on both sides of the Atlantic with“Magic Touch”, “Slow Down” and “Watching You ( Watching Me )”.
