A futuristic looking tube in a brightly lit room with minimalistic design

A new, hyper-futuristic clinic has landed in the city, and it’s straight out of a Black Mirror episode, minus the dark undertones, you’ll be pleased to know. So, if you’re in the market for a full health MOT, this might be the place for you.

This state-of-the-art facility is shaking up preventative healthcare, offering a full-body check-up that feels more like a serene spa visit than a doctor’s appointment. It’s designed to be a genuinely peaceful and efficient experience, providing you with a comprehensive snapshot of your health in just 60 minutes.

The full-body health check-up giving major sci-fi vibes

Neko Health’s newly opened Covent Garden locationwhich is all pastel hues and minimalist design, is a far cry from your usual dreary doctor’s surgery. Upon arrival, you’ll be given comfy slides and a robe to change into before being taken to a private room that’s equipped with cutting-edge technology.

Our team visited the clinic, check out what happened when they went:

The process

The core of the experience is an innovative, non-invasive body scan. You’ll step into a tube where they take your height and weight and then capture over 2,000 hypersensitive pictures of your body. This process, which only takes a moment, allows them to create a personalised avatar and thoroughly evaluate every mole and freckle on your body, helping to catch any skin abnormalities much faster. They also test your grip and eye strength.

You’ll also have a blood testwith the sample immediately whisked off to their on-site blood lab for testing. This is all about speed and efficiency—no weeks of anxious waiting for results here.

The rest of the hour is a whirlwind of automated, yet guided, checks. You’ll have a nurse with you, but an automated voice also talks you through each measurement, explaining its purpose. For instance, a scan on your wrist uses light at different wavelengths to perform a tissue analysis and evaluate your molecular composition. Crucially, they’ll also check your blood pressure and heart healthincluding key blood values like cholesterol and blood sugar (HbA1c).

Once the scan and tests are complete, you’ll head next door for a thorough debrief with a doctor. They’ll use your personalised avatar to show you exactly how all the collected medical information—from your heart rate to your mole map—shows up in your body. It’s an incredibly detailed, in-depth view that focuses on preventative healthgiving you the knowledge to make better lifestyle decisions.

The best part? This one-hour, full-body MOT, which feels like it should cost thousands of pounds given the technology, comes in at £299.
