Everyone knows the original Ivy is still the best. This Easter, the old faithful is serving up all the classics you’d expect from London’s most beloved dining rooms. With a dedicated Easter menu, this weekend you can try the slow-roast leg of lamb, which comes with a Yorkshire pudding, crispy roast potatoes, savoy cabbage and a rich red wine sauce. There is also a seasonal set menu on offer, starting with poached green asparagus with warm spears, a fried duck egg, Grana Padano and watercress, or duck liver and pistachio parfait served with crumbled pistachios, grapes, green beans and winter truffle. For mains, standout choices include The Ivy Shepherd’s Pie and Roasted sea trout with crushed peas and new potatoes. To finish, desserts lean into the fun of the season, with options such as Peter Rabbit’s garden cake, a classic knickerbocker glory or The Ivy sherry trifle. It would be rude not to!
