ET shared a preview Little people, big world the season 25 finale, where Zach recalled the tension between him and his father, Matt. As the clip begins, Zach can be heard speaking about growing up on a farm, and the screen shows pictures of Zach when he was younger. Zach wants his kids to be able to grow up spending a lot of time outdoors like he did. He regrets that fact their experience is not the same as his because of the ongoing family tension.
At this point, Zach starts talking about his father in more detail instead of talking in general terms. He admits that “no one holds a grudge” against each other in the Roloff family and “no one goes to the farm on purpose.“The fact is that he has in his mind”no interest” on the part of her children want to visit Roloff Farm. Her children obviously don’t ask to visit, and she and Tori don’t try to hide anything from them.

Matt and Zach’s relationship will be “different” if they reconcile
Zach goes even further and admits”that ship has left“When it comes to the same type of father-son relationship that they used to have.”There’s not much of a relationship, we just do our own thing,” he adds. Zach hopes that some kind of healing can happen between him and Matt, but that’s unlikely to happen anytime soon. It will likely take time to come to an understanding with her father, but the hopeful hint in her comments doesn’t close the door entirely. “Everything will get better. It’s just going to be different,” he concludes.
It’s fascinating to hear Zach talk so openly about his strained relationship with his father there have been times in the past when he has been very strict about not wanting to comment. For example, in the earlier one Little people, big world in season 25, Matt and Caryn Chandler got engaged, and Matt excitedly broke the big news to Amy’s husband, Chris Marek. However, when Zach was asked during the confessional about his thoughts on the engagement, Zach felt really uncomfortable and said he didn’t want to talk about it.
