Master this Indian street food
KOKUM is East Dulwich’s go-to spot for modern Indian food thanks to its refined takes on regional classics. That includes one of India’s most popular street food dishes, chaat, which you can learn how to make like a pro at this masterclass exclusively for our INSIDERS.
On Sat 4th April, Sanjay Gour (who’s spent time at Michelin-starred restaurants like Gymkhana) will lead an interactive chaat masterclass, teaching you how to make crispy, yoghurt-drenched samosa chaat and zesty aloo chana chaat from scratch, which you’ll then get to eat. Whether you’re a novice in the kitchen or you’re looking to expand your repertoire, you’ll leave having nailed chaat’s sweet, spicy and tangy layers, plus a goodie bag filled with essential ingredients and recipe cards so you can cook up more chaat at home.
Tickets to the masterclass cost £45 and include the full session, your chaat to eat and a goodie bag to take home.
INSIDERS can book their tickets for the chaat making masterclass at KOKUM on Sat 4th April for £45 below. If you’re not a member yet, sign up below for just £2 a month. INSIDERS get access to hand-picked experiences, exclusive masterclasses and members-only offers – curated by our editors for less than the price of a coffee.
