Jimmy Eat World press shot with band members

As far as three-album runs go, they don’t come much better than Clarity into Bleed American into Futures. And Jimmy Eat World will be giving it all the salt, sweat, and sugar when they celebrate 25 years of the sandwich filling of that classic trio of records, with a giant London show in the summer.

Marking their biggest show in the UK, the band will take to Gunnersbury Park to play Bleed American in full, as well as other hits and deep cuts from their entire career. Their concert in London follows gigs in Halifax and Cardiff, and Jimmy Eat World will be supported by Rise Against, The Get Up Kidsand Jay Som on all three dates.

Bleed American was released in 2001, and features seminal anthems from the band, including The MiddleSweetness, Hear You Meand more.

Speaking on the announcement of the shows, Jimmy Eat World frontman Jim Adkins said: “When we printed the last mix of Bleed Americanwe felt like we had achieved something great for ourselves. There was no barometer of how it would connect with people outside of the studio and we are still in awe with the life the record and songs have had since their original release. Bleed American is as much yours as it is ours, so we want to celebrate it with you all in a very special way.”
