After a massive North American run, Janet Jackson will expand her Together Again tour to Europe, adding several stops across the continent. And the R&B superstar will play four dates in the UK, stopping at The O2 on Saturday 28 September.
Tickets go on general sale on Friday, May 3 at 9am – you’ll be able to get them from Ticketmaster and Live Nation. Celebrating over five decades of career, the tour has been designed to feature all of the singer’s greatest hits.
The five-time Grammy winner announced the news in a video posted to Instagram, saying: “Europe I know it’s been a minute since we’ve seen each other, but the wait is no longer.
“I’m going on the Together Again tour across Europe this autumn, I can’t wait to see you guys, I miss you so much. We’ve had so much fun doing this show so I can’t wait to come and have some of the fun with you.”
And fans were quick to share their thoughts. One user wrote: “I’m actually sitting here crying, I never thought this day would come – thanks J.”
“Miss Janet Jackson I’ve been waiting for this moment!” another added, while a third commented: “You were my very first concert when I was 12 at Wembley Arena, it was the concert that started my love of performing live and now I get to do it all over again.”
The 57-year-old started out in the variety show The Jacksons, along with the rest of his musical family, and later rose to fame as a solo artist. In 2019, she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for being “one of the most successful and groundbreaking artists of the eighties and nineties”.
