Fans wonder if the new Diddy Do It The Netflix documentary poster is real or not.
Rap icon Sean “Diddy” Combs is back in the news after several lawsuits have been filed against the star, including allegations of rape, sex trafficking and abuse.
This all came to a head (at least publicly) when the Department of Homeland Security raided several of Combs’ properties, leaving fans to wonder what happened to the Bad Boys frontman.
Diddy Do It poster debunked
Netflix true crime documentary poster Diddy Do It made the rounds online, prompting fans to question its authenticity.
The poster arrived online in the wake of police raids on the homes of Sean “Diddy” Combs and, among other things, sexual crime allegations against the music icon.
It has Diddy’s face in the case files, a “stream now” tagline and what looks like the official Netflix brand.
However, this poster may be persuasive, Diddy did it? is not genuine and is a product of BossLogic, a popular digital artist known for his artwork and graphics.
BossLogic has long been known for its work based on big names and stories in pop culture and sports, and this is just the latest from the infamous online content creator.
Diddy documentaries coming soon
Although this Diddy did it? documentary turned out to be fake, which doesn’t mean there isn’t something for fans to watch who want to know more about the allegations against the rapper.
After a fourth alleged sexual assault victim came forward in December, word was out that a documentary about Sean “Diddy” Combs and the legal troubles he faced was in the works (via Variety ).
The untitled film project comes from 50 Cent’s production company G-Unit Films and deals with Diddy’s past and allegations of sexual misconduct against him.
No release information has been made public about the project, but it has been made clear “The proceeds of this documentary go to victims of sexual violence and rape” (50 cents per X):
“An untitled ‘Diddy’ documentary is being developed through G-Unit Film and Television, with Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson serving as an executive producer. Proceeds from this documentary received by G-Unit Film & Television will benefit victims of sexual assault and rape. .”
As the story progresses, there is enough to cover in documentary form, so it would make sense to cover it in some form in 50 Cent’s rapper project.
Diddy has yet to be charged with any of these charges, but allegations continue to surface against the rapper.
Most recently, police raided his properties in Los Angeles and Miami after Diddy was long accused of sex trafficking in addition to his previous sex crime charges.
