Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph returns Below decks season 3 has sparked discussions about his future on the show, given the challenges highlighted in the trailer. Although the Tzarina reprises her role, the absence of her closest ally, Chief Stew Aesha Scott, has greatly altered the ship’s environment. The trailer teases a season full of heightened pressures and emotional clashes for the fan-favorite chef.

Without Aesha by her side, Tzarina faces an uphill battle, maintaining her composure during conflict. Aesha’s replacement, head stew Lara Rigby, appears to be at loggerheads with the Tzarina, fueling speculation that this season could be the chef’s last. The trailer vividly illustrates Tzarina’s battles, Some have to ask if these challenges will force him to leave the franchise altogether.

Chef Tzarina said that it was difficult to shoot Season 3 without Aesha

A fundamental change Below decks season 3 is Chief Stew Aesha’s absence. His warm personality was crucial in supporting the Chef Tzarina during the previous charters. In an Instagram story Czarina admitted that filming without Aesha was “difficult,” hinted that the upcoming season would be one of the most challenging yet.

The moments of frustration depicted in the preview suggest that Aesha’s absence has made the environment of the pressure cooker even more difficult. Aesha’s lack of constant presence seems to have added to Tzarina’s challenges this season. The trailer shows Tzarina struggling to adjust to the new dynamic.

Chef Tzarina beats Aesha with a replacement

The arrival of the new main stew, Lara, has caused significant tension between her and Chef Tzarina. Without Aesha’s collaborative approach, Lara’s leadership style has caused friction. In the trailer, Rigby accuses the Tzarina of being “disorganized“, prompting a sharp rebuttal from Tzarina, calling Lara”the biggest control freak he’s ever met.“

Two department heads struggling to find common ground will be a major storyline this season. Captain Jason Chambers is even shown stepping in to mediate their arguments. The trailer teases an explosive season that threatens to disrupt the crew’s ability to function to maintain a uniform work environment.

Will Chef Tzarina return for season 4?

So far, there has been no official announcement as to whether Chef Tzarina will return Below decks season 4. Since season 3 has yet to premiere, her social media posts have focused primarily on promoting the highly anticipated season 3, offering little information about her future plans. However, Tzarina’s Season 3 challenges may play a major role in her decision to return.
