Annie Suwan and David Toborowsky got married in 2017
David lived in Annie’s home country of Thailand after hard times. Little did David know that he would meet the love of his life 8,000 miles from home. David proposed to Annie within 10 days of meeting her. Their first date was at the Thai-Cambodian border market, where Annie was buying things for her little brother and parents. David saw how genuine Annie’s heart was and decided to marry her. However, before that, David had to give Annie to the familySin Sod” or dowry to show financial stability.
Annie’s family agreed to a dowry of 50,000 baht and two water buffaloes. David later paid them 450,000 baht more as per their agreement.
