Biltmore Mayfair, a symbol of timeless elegance in the heart of Grosvenor Square, is thrilled to announce a partnership with the prestigious British jeweler Boodles. Together, these two brands are on display The Boodles Tea at Biltmore: A fine afternoon tea designed by The Biltmore, inspired by the timeless works of Boodles.
Celebrating Boodles’ famous heritage, Afternoon Tea is a visual and culinary tribute to the brand’s renowned creations. The tea includes a range of pastries and desserts, delicately crafted by the Biltmore’s pastry chefs to echo the soft pink hues of Boodles’ famous pink diamonds.
Cakes are the star of the show. Boodles pink Apple & Vanilla pearls is inspired by the Boodles Luna Pearl Rose Gold pendant. Soft Opalys white chocolate ganache and slow-cooked apple compote create a sophisticated contrast, just like the interplay of light and shadow in a perfectly polished pearl. White, chocolate pearls on top of vanilla sable bring out the piece’s luxurious simplicity and timeless elegance.
The Flower Choux Jivara milk chocolate ganache Montée and blueberry gel is reminiscent of the Flower Pink Diamond Platinum and Rose Gold rings and a nod to the delicate and intricate patterns often seen in Boodles’ floral-inspired collections. The dried meringue adds a crunchy, light texture that echoes the delicate precision with which Boodles artisans craft their jewels.
The Pear & white chocolate heart embodies the romantic and sentimental aspects of Boodles design, often seen in their heart-shaped motifs and signature engagement rings. The combination of Opalys white chocolate mousse and caramelized pears on top of vanilla sable reflects the brand’s ability to combine classic beauty with modern sophistication.
The Chocolate explosion the cake is a tribute to the bold and dynamic pieces in the Boodles collection. Guanaja chocolate mousse, hazelnut marshmallow, crystalline chocolate and brownie cake come together in a decadent ensemble that reflects the complexity of the obvious jewel. The sugar flower on top serves as the perfect flourish, reminiscent of the intricate details of Boodles.
The Lemon and chamomile Boodles shortbread provides the finish.
Guests are also treated to sandwiches and savory treats prepared to Biltmore’s exceptional standard. Highlights include: crab tartlets with crushed avocado, kaffir lime, yuzu gel and pickled mustard seeds; tomato tartar, burrata, crispy basil and black olive tapenade tartlyou don’t; Hereford roast beef, onion chutney, grain mustard mayonnaise, micro rocket, brioche onion bread; Baba ghanoush, grilled vegetables, labneh on basil and spinach bread and a variety of warm, melt-in-your-mouth scones.
Each bite is a nod to Boodles’ meticulous craftsmanship, offering guests not only a taste of sophistication but also a connection to the heritage of one of Britain’s most famous jewelers.
The Biltmore is known for some of London’s most lavish and opulent suites, making it the perfect setting for an afternoon tea that promises to be as exquisite as the jewels that inspired it.
