Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows you can stream or watch right now.

: What surprised you the most about the MAFS interview/screening process? Did it meet your expectations?

Emem: The
MAFS
the screening process was intense! The questions they ask really make you do some soul searching and decide if
MAFS
suits you. If you are not committed to marriage, the process will make that clear to you.

Ikechi: It was intense, the line of questioning was invasive, it forced us to prove family history and relationships, mental health and preferences. It felt like I had taken the matchmaking SAT.

: What was the most important thing you were looking for in a partner?

Emem: I look for authenticity. Someone who is respectful, trustworthy, purposeful and confident. Someone who is ready to spend your life with you and create a family.

Ikechi: Someone with a kind heart who loves God and people, a true friend I could see a lasting relationship with.

: What three words would you use to describe your Married at First Sight experience?

Emem: Wild, eye-opening and introspective.

Ikechi: A rollercoaster of emotions.

: How has your view of MAFS changed since you’ve been a part of the program?

Emem: My perspective has definitely changed since I’ve been involved
MAFS
. This experience is not for the faint of heart, and if you’re in it for the wrong reasons, your relationship won’t work. I believe
MAFS
looking for people who are ready to make a lifelong commitment and happy couples who do it because they work.

Ikechi: It’s proven to me that love still exists, and sometimes it doesn’t come the way you expect it to.

: Is there anything you would change from the way you were looking for a partner before you were connected to MAFS?

Emem: I wouldn’t change a thing about what I look for in a partner. I would probably be a little more specific in my prayer and ask for someone who wants to start a family.

Ikechi: I would add some southern features to this.

: What answer do you think led the experts to match you with your MAFS mate? Would you change the answer now?

Emem: I told the experts that I want someone who is ready for marriage. I would not change this answer because preparing for marriage is key to nurturing a healthy future relationship. Mentally, you have to make the decision to make your marriage work no matter what life throws at you, and I want someone who is willing to face those battles with me.

Ikechi: I believe I said I wanted someone who could take me out of my comfort zone, to be more specific, I would change it to someone who would be comfortable introducing me to his world and me introducing him to mine.

Based on the Danish version of the series, Married at First Sight is a reality show/social experiment that gives singles the chance to find a lifelong partnership with one caveat: they must agree to marry a stranger the moment they meet. Experts provide advice and guidance as they help couples navigate their new marriage with an unknown partner, highlighting the newlyweds’ journey from wedding to honeymoon to starting their new life together. After eight weeks, couples decide to stay married or divorce.
