Based on Emem Obot’s circumstances in Married at first sight season 18 so far, I’m sure she’ll be involved in a scandal with a surprising person she ends up with. thus Married at first sight season 18 promises two scandals at the beginning of the season; couple swap and cheating scandal. Neither has happened yet, but so far many events have been set in motion leading to two dramatic events. Emem married Ikechi Ojoré at the altar after meeting him there as a stranger.

Ememi and Ikechi will be joined by four other couples in season 18, Madison Myers and Allen Slovick, Karla Juarez and Juan Franco, Camille Parsons and Thomas, and Michelle Tomblin and David Trimble. Early on, I saw Michelle and David as a couple swimming in the roughest of waters, but as the season has progressed, I’ve found wildly that all couples face issues that could end their marriages. What’s even crazier to me is that I like Ememi the most in the upcoming drama actress.

Emem & Ikechi split in MAFS season 18

Ememi and Ikechi had a showdown

Lifelong‘s Ikechi and Emem started their marriage off on a good footing as they were both interested in each other and curious about each other. They found that they were aligned with life goals and were easy to talk to. Things took a turn when they returned to Chicago after their honeymoon in Mexico. I noticed Ikechi was shocked by Ememi’s bluntness and willingness to ask questions. Ikechi wanted Ememi to get to know him organically and through quality time.

This led to more friction and resentment on Ikechi’s part. He called Emmi “aggressive” on several occasions, including to his friends, and he called her an “a*****e” on their one month birthday. She also claimed that Emem made unwanted sexual advances that stopped her. Ikechi packed and left after the trip “a*****e” feelings and didn’t answer Ememi’s calls or texts to clear things up. Ikechi showed up unexpectedly at the couple’s one-month anniversary group dinner, where he continued to accuse Ememi of misconduct.

“I have no peace in my home.” Ikechi continued, “My wife makes me feel like crap.

The heated arguments incited Ememi who called Ikechi a “clown,” and pointed out that Ikechi was not willing to work to be a part of the marriage. He also expressed his hurt. Ikechi packed the last of his things and left their shared apartment while he wrapped things up with Ememi. In the latest episode, I was surprised to see that Ikechi and Emem were both willing to figure things out under the guidance of experts. They agreed to give each other grace and try to give each other what they needed to understand each other and move forward in their marriage.

While I agree that Emem and Ikechi are ready to give their marriage another go, I don’t think it will work for long. I find Ikechi to be defiant, hostile and abusive, with no genuine intention of meeting Ememi in the middle.

I predict this will leave Ememi single again and untapped with another connection Married at first sight season 18 cast member who is also in a vulnerable place.

Hints Emem is part of the MAFS scandal

Ememi’s Instagram bio reveals something

What leads me to believe that Emem is at the center of one scandal is what is written in his Instagram bio. Emem says he is a “wife,” means that he comes out MAFS experience with husband – and I don’t think it’s Ikechi. While I don’t think Ememi has the character to be a cheater, I do think she can be part of a swap. And I think the couple swap means two actors from different relationships get together while their partners go single.

My opinion is shared with others MAFS fans, and I also believe that the person Emem will end up with is Allen. Reddit thread shared by u/Stargazerlily425 I had the same idea of who would gather, but not in the same game.

“I know it’s not likely, but I’m all for Allen and Ememi being the ones to cheat. At this point, they can be happy, mature, and successful together.”

Will Emem end up with Allen?

Part of the MAFS trailer was telling

My reason for Emem being part of the pair swap with Allen is based on what I’ve seen MAFS trailers. In one clip, Allen and Emem share a heartfelt hug, and the editing suggests there’s more to come.

I think Emem and Allen would make a good couple and I feel like both of their hands are being forced by their partners not being interested in them.

Married at first sight‘s Emem and Allen would make a strong pair, and If both spouses end the marriage, their exchange is not considered cheatingsaving their reputation.

Married at first sight airs Tuesdays at 8pm EST on Lifetime.

Based on the Danish version of the series, Married at First Sight is a reality show/social experiment that gives singles the chance to find a lifelong partnership with one caveat: they must agree to marry a stranger the moment they meet. Experts provide advice and guidance as they help couples navigate their new marriage with an unknown partner, highlighting the newlyweds’ journey from wedding to honeymoon to starting their new life together.
