As children, we take great delight in pondering the future careers we may pursue.
Whether you dreamed of becoming a teacher, paramedic, actor or early years practitioner – the prospect of what the future might hold was an exciting one, filled with hope and wonder. But our childhood dreams don’t always come to fruition, and it can be difficult to know which career pathway is the right one to take. For some, the future is totally unclear, whilst others simply have a change of heart later down the line.
Ashton Sixth Form College provides a perfect solution for mature students who have decided on a career change – or wish to develop new and existing skills later in life – through many higher and adult education courses.
The college’s Higher and Adult Education Centre specialises in providing courses in Education and Health, including PGCE (teacher training), teaching assistant and early years courses, education degrees and an Access to HE Diploma in Health. The college is also partnered with Staffordshire University, Liverpool Hope University and the Associated Merseyside Partnership School-Centred Initial Teacher Training.
The alumni of Ashton Sixth Form College are proudly pursuing the careers of their dreams later in life, thanks to the college’s offering and unwavering support both during and after their studies.
