Sister wives star Kody Brown has alienated everyone around him except his “nuclear family” and I don’t understand how he can’t see that in many ways, it’s a big problem for his future. Throughout the run sister wives, Despite having some pretty controversial opinions, Kody has been able to navigate his relationships without much difficulty. Although things have gotten worse for Kody in recent years, it was clear for most of the series that Kody was the head of his household. As in most Mormon families, Kody was the leader.

Kody’s wives, currently Robyn Brown and formerly Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, and Christine Brown, were quick to listen to what he wanted and follow his schedule, but as things began to change in their lives, Kody’s power diminished. During the final seasons of the show Sister wives has been more about breaking the status quo and showing the family’s struggles behind the scenes, and Kody has been quick to respond. Sister wives season 19 has made it clear that the family patriarch has been working on his feelings, but his relationships with his older children are still a struggle.

Sister Wives Season 19 has shown that Kody is invested in his nuclear family

He no longer makes an effort to parent his children

Although Kody has always been more open about his feelings sister wives, he’s made it clear where he stands with his family during the show’s latest season. After losing three of his four wives, Kody has dealt with the aftermath of his divorce in an interesting way, and his children’s behavior colors his feelings towards his ex-wives. Although Kody understands that his older children are adults who form their own opinionshe still believes their mothers color their opinions, which means he invests more in his family with Robyn than anyone else.

Referring to himself, Roby, and their five children as his “nuclear family,” Kody does a great job of alienating his older children from his life. While many of Kodys’ grown children don’t speak to him as such, those who were still in his corner are beginning to realize that he doesn’t support them in most ways. Although he knew he could be a good parent because of the way he interacts with his other children, Kody is cast as a difficult and withdrawn father to his children outside of his nuclear familyleaving them out in the cold.

While Kody and Robyn’s children, three of whom were from a previous marriage and adopted by Kody while married to Robyn, have been able to see the good side of Kody, his other children haven’t been able to see that side for years. As a father, Kody has pushed his family away in a way that has made them uninterested in continuing their relationship. Burdening his kids with the responsibility he should take on as a parent, Kody has tried to explain that he would be fine with the relationship in the future, but he has strict guidelines about it.

Instead of being comfortable with his kids or deciding to be the bigger person and come to them, Kody made the difficult decision to deal with his issues on his own and says he’s ready when his kids want to come to him. If they apologize for their behavior, Kodys made it clear that he will commit to a relationship with them one more time. Besides the fact that Kody is older He is not even interested in trying to apologize for his unresponsive and irresponsible behavior makes it clear that he is not ready for any adult conversation.

While Kody’s main focus right now seems to be his kids, it’s clear that his time is up Sister wives hasn’t been good for his ego. Being on TV doesn’t bode well for Kody, who doesn’t like challenges. Rather, he would appreciate it if the viewers didn’t give him feedback so he wouldn’t have to face his mistakes. In his own life, all of his exes gave him sharp feedback about his behavior, which caused him to spiral in many different ways. The fact that it’s happening on an even bigger scale is even more painful for Kody.

Kody’s choice to alienate his older children will not help in the future

He won’t have them on his side later in life

As Kody continues to alienate his older children, I wonder if he truly understands that he can’t repair those relationships after that. Sister wives. While I hope Kody’s behavior doesn’t affect his kids too much, he seems to be hell-bent on pursuing relationships with his kids as he goes alongthough they wish to do so only if they come to him. Kody’s inability to deal with the consequences of his own actions has made it clear that he doesn’t understand his children’s alienation in public Sister wives rob him of a relationship with them in the future.
