A tiny handheld Hoover has been discounted on Amazon. The Hoover Ultra Vortex was originally £149.99, but it now costs £94.89 after a generous 37 per cent discount.
The Hoover Ultra Vortex is also available from eBay, where it costs £137.59. It’s designed for use on mattresses, pillows, sofas, and cushions, and kills up to 99.9 per cent of bacteria, allergens, and dust mites.
It comes with its own storage bag, and can do more than just vacuum. It’s got a germicidal UV-c lamp that kills allergens, and a roll and beat bar that penetrates into fabrics to remove dust.

The Hoover even has the UK Allergy Seal of Approval. That means it’s been tested by the British Allergy Foundation and has been proven to remove house dust mites and house dust mites allergens.
On Amazon, the Hoover has 4.5 stars from 139 reviews. One person said: “I wasn’t expecting much but I’m delighted with this purchase. It was all ready to be used from the box, excellent suction and easy to use. Does a great job in removing dust and hair from my bed as well as pet hair on the sofa. Bonus point for the cute jingle it makes when you plug it on and for the bag it comes in to store it.”
Another person wrote “I used this hoover on my bed, blankets, pillows, sofas, cushions etc and since I’ve had it (my cat) has not had any flare ups. Hopefully this has solved our problem. Even if it hasn’t, it does suck up more dust and dirt than our normal hoover so I’m sure does positively impact the humans living here as well.”
