Back by popular demand, Heinz and Morley’s are bringing back last summer’s iconic collaboration: Heinz x Morley’s Fried Chicken Sauce. After being a huge success when it first came out, the limited edition product has just been made available nationwide.
Developed with Morley’s, the South London fried chicken cult institution, the sauce set the internet on fire last year, sweeping restaurant tables and fans demanding it be available to buy. Now it’s back and ready to grace plates at home, having launched at Tesco, Morrison’s, Ocado, Heinz To Home (£3.39), and being rolled out across supermarkets over the coming months.
Blending sweet and spicy flavors, it’s made with tomatoes, peppers, onions and a hint of chili. It can also be used to elevate a range of cuisines from spiced grilled lamb to halloumi and rice.
Shan Selvendran, one of the co-owners of Morley’s, said: “Seeing the reception of our sauce last summer was really crazy. We knew we had fans, but we couldn’t anticipate the sauces disappearing and people messaging us asking where they could buy it, it was unexpected!
