It seemed that Liz was afraid of being alone and went back to Big Ed again and again. Their relationship was given new life when Big Ed and Liz went to couples therapy at a resort 90 days: last resort season 1. They even set a date for their wedding. Big Ed planned to marry Liz in August 2023 their anniversary. However, just days before it could happen, Big Ed canceled the ceremony and didn’t even tell Liz about it. Big Ed claimed that Liz was embarrassed in front of his family.

Liz started posting about her mystery man around November 2023. He launched Jayson even though his season was Happily Ever After? which confirmed her split with Big Ed had yet to be announced. Liz started posting pictures of Jayson’s head being cut off. She finally made her big announcement in June 2024 after Big Ed called off their wedding in the Season 8 episode. Liz spoke after meeting Jayson during one of his marathons. He had slipped into her DMs, and while she wasn’t looking for anything serious, the pair had started dating in October 2023.

On Jayson’s first anniversary, Liz wrote that they had been together for a year and had never broken up! Liz apparently shadowed Big Ed, who got engaged to a fan in September 2024 to gain attention. Big Ed was at a meet and greet at a sandwich shop in Florida where he met Porscha Raemondi. He took her out on a date 24 hours later and asked her to marry him with a ring made from a paper clip. Porscha said yes, but Big Ed called off the engagement less than a week later.
“After talking with my family, I realized that I don’t want to get married. I want to be single. So I wish her – Porsche – the best in life,” Big Ed admitted in a statement.

For Liz, moving halfway through was a challenge, but she agreed to go to Arkansas for a reason. Liz had realized that when she was around Big Ed’s family, she decided to be the best version of herself. According to Liz, Big Ed’s family supported their relationship and strengthened them.

Interestingly, a fight over taco pasta at his sister’s house led to Big Ed leaving Liz. She moved back to San Diego after the breakup where she met Jayson, but in June 2024, Liz moved to Seattle With Jayson.

Big Ed still lives in Arkansas because that’s where he was born and raised. He still pursued his real estate career, in which he immersed himself 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? In October 2024 Big Ed revealed that he had sold three properties in one transaction. In addition to the big money he makes through cameos and brand collaborations, Big Ed is supposed to have earned over a million dollars from deals in his first year as a realtor. Although his love life is in the doldrums, Big Ed is making great strides in his career.
