Author, drummer and music executive David Stark will share ersonal stories from the 1960s onwards in It’s All Too Much: The Beatles and Me at the Circle & Star Theatre on Sunday, April 26.

Mr Stark, who met all four band members at once on some occasions, maintains a professional relationship with Sir Paul McCartney as presenter of the SongLink Prizes at LIPA (Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts) each year.

Mr Stark said: “I’m greatly looking forward to giving my talk again at what used to be the old Pentameters Theatre – I actually sold out two shows there a few years ago but the new Circle & Star theatre has been completely renovated to a very high standard by my pal Steve First, the actor and comedian renowned for his ‘Lenny Beige’ character, who now owns it.

“He might even be making a guest appearance, you never know. Live music will also be provided on the night by the wonderful Susan Black who will be singing a few Fab Four tunes.”

Tickets are priced at £20 plus booking fee and are available through the event’s booking website.
