The debate will run until the end of days surrounding the best GTA 5 cheat, but we’re big fans of the Buzzard attack chopper. Armed with miniguns and rocket pads, it’s one of the best ways to cause chaos and have some mindless fun in the world.

While obtaining max health and armour is another useful cheat that can be inputted at any time, knowing how to lower the wanted level is also incredibly helpful to get out of any sticky situations.
These cheats guarantee players don’t run out of health, ammo, armour or weapons, and can keep those pesky cops away when they take offence to you eliminating half the population of Los Santos – or will even let players goad them into a high-stakes chase, just to demonstrate their immense power.
For good measure, we have included a parachute cheat code. It’s always useful to have, as players never know when one will come in handy!

How to use GTA 5 cheat codes
While most GTA games simply allow players to type in a cheat code while the character is walking around, GTA 5 has a few different ideas to mix up that formula. Depending on the platform, here’s how to use GTA 5 cheat codes:
- On Xbox, PC or PlayStation, input the code on the controller at any time while wandering around the game world.
- On PC, press one keyboard button (¬ in the UK or ~ in the USA) and then type in the cheat code.
- On Xbox, PC or PlayStation, enter cheat codes on the in-game phone. Press up on the D-pad to bring up the phone, then enter the special code.
- Activate the Black Cellphone cheat by dialling 1-999-367-3767, for example. This will cause a random explosion to occur somewhere overhead, change the phone’s colour, and make it a touch bigger than normal.

Is there a GTA 5 money cheat?
There’s no money cheat code in GTA 5. The developers from Rockstar like players to have some fun with cheating, but they have not provided a way to make a ton of free cash, which is not in the least bit surprising.
This applies to both single-player and multiplayer, with no GTA money cheat available for either.
While that makes sense for GTA Online considering that’s the big incentive for the mode and players are competing against each other, it’s surprising not to see unlimited money in single-player.
Previous games like San Andreas featured a cheat code to unlock $250,000, which could then be repeated endlessly. If Rockstar decides to roll out a money cheat, we’ll make sure to update this piece.
