Lendlease has announced that Gordon Ramsay Restaurants has signed on for the landmark Pavilion building at Stratford Cross. The 10,000 sq m space is home to the sixth London location for Gordon Ramsay’s popular Bread Street Kitchen & Bar.
Bread Street Kitchen & Bar is located on all three levels of the Pavilion at Stratford Cross and will open on June 3rd. It is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. There will also be spaces for private dining and events, as well as a communal work space in the ground floor cafe, where coffee and pastries are served from Monday to Friday at 8:00 am.
The 3,000 square meter rooftop bar offers alfresco dining and views of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the East Bank Cultural Quarter. In addition, there is a 30-seat outdoor terrace on the ground floor. The Stratford Cross restaurant offers a bespoke menu with new additions tailored for Pavilion guests, as well as a classic menu featuring globally inspired Gordon Ramsay dishes.
Andy Wenlock, chief executive of Gordon Ramsay Restaurants, said: “The bold vision for Stratford Cross is what initially attracted Gordon and me to the destination. Having spent time in its energetic, creative environment and inclusive community, it is undoubtedly the ideal home for us. The jewel in Stratford Cross’s crown is certainly the Pavilion building, creating a striking location for the brand new flagship Bread Street Kitchen & Bar.
