Our sister site London Now reported that at around 3.15pm yesterday (February 17), the London Fire Brigade were called to reports of a fire at Golders Green Underground Station.

Crews found a trackside fire and extinguished it by 4.06pm.

Footage was circulated on social media showing several fire engines and firefighters arriving at the scene.

A London Fire Brigade spokesperson said: “Firefighters responded to reports of a fire at Golders Green Underground Station.

“Upon arrival crews located and extinguished a small trackside fire.

“The Brigade was first called about the fire at 1514, and the incident was over for crews by 1606.”
