The Golden Bachelor competitor Mark Anderson was originally seen as a nice guy, but has recently turned to the dark side. Mark is not like most Bachelor Rivals of the Nation. Instead of applying The Golden Bachelorhe made his television debut during Bachelor season 28. Her daughter, Kelsey Anderson, was one of Joey Graziadei’s final four women, and she visited Kelsey’s hometown. When Mark gave Kelsey and Joey a photo album filled with pictures of his love story with his late wife, women across the country swooned together and a star was born.

Although his screen time was short, the 58-year-old retired Army veteran left quite an impression. When he was thrown in The Golden Bachelor in Season 1, hopes were high that he would easily win the heart of 61-year-old Joan Vassos, but it hasn’t worked out that way. Although Joan told Mark she loved himhe continued that “something was missing” and sent her home before her hometown date. Although many fans are clamoring for Mark to be next golden bachelor, he may no longer live up to their impossibly high expectations.

Spotting Mark Anderson’s red flags?

He’s already back there

Things looked so promising for Joan and Mark that first night The Golden Bachelor season 1. Kelsey stepped out of the limo with her father to introduce her to Joan. Joan seemed genuinely excited to meet Mark, but the spark was quickly extinguished. After several weeks, Joan finally arranged a one-on-one date for Mark, but it proved awkward for both of them, and Joan ended up sending Mark home before the rose ceremony the next day.

With the Halloween season in full swing, Barbara recently posted a picture on his Instagram in which she is dressed as Cinderella and Mark is dressed as Prince CharmingWith Barbara’s daughter Natalie Alyn Lind wearing a Star wars make. The fans The Golden Bachelor and One Tree Hill lost their collective minds after seeing the picture. The post has 4.7,000 likes and Barbara’s caption reads:When Cinderella and Prince Charming have a baby…“

Fans start asking questions

It is interesting to note that Mark did not wait long to get back and meet new women. It is particularly surprising because during his painfully awkward date with Joan on The Golden Bachelor season 1, Mark claimed he hadn’t dated much since his late wife Denise Anderson died in 2018. When Joan sent him home, Mark talked about how being on the show helped him change.

It’s possible that being on the show helped open Mark’s heart to the possibility of finding love again.

If Mark doesn’t tread carefully, he’s in danger of going the same way The Golden Bachelor season 1 Gerry Turner. The 72-year-old retired restaurateur was a fan favorite when he was announced Bachelor the spin-off’s first lead. The series’ inaugural season ended with Gerry giving his final rose to 70-year-old Theresa Nist, and they were quickly married lavishly The Golden Bachelor wedding. When they announced their split three months later, fans turned on Gerry. He went from hero to zero overnight, and Mark could find himself going the same way.

Mark Anderson may be starting to avoid the spotlight

He may prefer a quieter life

Unlike the gregarious Gerry, Mark is a much quieter man. Before showing up with his daughter Bachelor in season 28, he had lived a relatively obscure life. The retired Army native had been married to his late wife Denise for 18 years and they had five children together. he was diagnosed with cancer in 2018and died just two months later. Mark loved his wife deeply and talked about her all the time. Joan was also a widow, and their shared loss was all they talked about.

Since Denise’s death, Mark has focused on taking care of his five children, including Kelsey.

Mark deserves to find love and be happy, but he may find that he doesn’t enjoy the spotlight after all. Sure, it may seem funny now that everyone is singing his praises, but he may eventually find the whole thing exhausting. These days, Mark is in high demand, so he’s having the time of his life. He should talk to Gerry about how quickly an admiring public can turn on a dime.

The Golden Bachelor season 1 episodes are recent featured ads asking women to apply for appearances The Golden Bachelor season 2although the identity of the show’s main character remains unclear. Mark had been a fan favorite to replace Gerry as the series’ new general manager, but there are several reasons to believe that Mark didn’t get the job. His photo with Barbara is one clue as it suggests that he might not be single anymore.

The fans want Mark to be
The Golden Bachelor
but they may not get what they want.

Although Mark has a lot going on, he might not be the best choice The Golden Bachelor. Firstly, a Bachelor the lead must be a good communicator and Mark is very quiet. Another problem is Mark’s relatively young age. At 58, the women he dates would probably be younger, some even as young as 40. This would be a complete betrayal of the premise of the show. Despite this, Mark has been a very popular man since leaving The Golden Bachelor season 1, so he might not be single for very long.
